Tony is an engaging, and motivating college Rugby Coach with 8 years as Head Coach and 20 years overall teaching young men to play and fall in love with the sport of Rugby Union.
• Team Ranked #2 (UMF) Nationally by the National Small College Rugby Organization in 2018.
• Team Ranked #6 (UMF) Nationally by the National Small College Rugby Organization in 2017.
• Team Ranked #13 (Colby College) by National Collegiate Rugby in 2021 for 7’s
• Team achieved Back to back undefeated New England Rugby Football Union Champions (2017 & 2018).
• Level 1 qualified rugby coach by world rugby

Favorite coaching moment:
All the trophies and the championships ever won have always been a true team effort, impossible to achieve without everyone doing their part. They all hold a special place in my heart… but my favorite coaching moment is when a young rugby player who has had to work a bit harder than the others to “get it” does something perfectly after they’ve trained day after day to do it well. A decision or a skill. It always fills me with extreme joy in those moments.
Favorite rugby memory overall?
Probably the Holmes chapel tour of 2006. I knew at that point that I loved the sport of rugby, but it wasn’t until a long weekend spent with new friends from the Holmes Chapel club that I fell head over heels in love with the sport in the community that surrounds it.
